Booklist Releases Annual Spotlight on Graphic Novels Issue
The March issue of the American Library Association’s Booklist journal focuses heavily on graphic novels, including starred reviews of new books and top 10 lists of graphic novels for both youth and adults, as well as other special features on graphic novels in libraries.
The current issue includes special roundups and reviews of graphic novels in both the youth and adult sections, including starred reviews of IDW’s Hyperactive (9781600103131) and First Second’s Adventures in Cartooning (9781596433694). Both adult and youth sections also include Booklist’s Top 10 graphic novels of the past year. Top titles for adults include Fantagraphics’ Bottomless Belly Button (9781560979159), Top Shelf Productions’ Essex County Vol. 3: The Country Nurse (9781891830952) and others.
