Z2 Comics and Grammy-nominated band Skillet have announced their collaborative partnership for a new graphic novel - Eden: A Skillet Graphic Novel. The title is based on an original story by the band's front man, John Cooper, and will be written by Alex Paknadel and Dan Watters for Random Shock Studios with Chris Hunt attached for the art.
"I am beyond thrilled about 'Eden'," said Coope in the official announcement. "It has always been a dream of mine to create a comic. Comics are still an important part of my life today and I can now share that love with my children with the release of this book. In many ways, this graphic novel is a natural extension of SKILLET's career. It is about perseverance, unlikely heroes, and faith in what you believe. I hope that the fans love it."
"We are very excited to join forces with John Cooper and the entire SKILLET team to create 'Eden'," states Josh Frankel, CEO of Z2 Comics. "This unique story idea and John's innate love of comics made this a natural partnership for us. We can't wait to share this with the world. This further cements Z2 Comics' reputation as the premier home for artists, musicians and their exclusive graphic novel projects."

John and Korey dreamt of a door to paradise, and the cult claimed this meant they must lead them there. John and Korey refused- they had children to raise, and a town to protect from monsters outside its gates.
And so the cult stole the machine that protected them all, leading to the slaughter of dozens.
Now John and Korey hunt them across the barren highways and crumbling skyscrapers of the future. Joined by ex-soldier Seth and cyborg Jen, they are drawn towards either death or salvation… for the truth of their dream will lead them to the secrets of Eden.
Eden: A Skillet Graphic Novel is slated to release August 27, 2019.
