When the time comes to order graphic novels, you have many options. Choose the one that works best for your situation. In some cases, you may have to buy locally. Or through a pre-determined wholesaler or book jobber. Or you may have carte blanche when it comes to such decision. This page summarizes your options for you.
1. Buy from your usual wholesaler or book jobber
Baker & Taylor, Inc., Booksource, Brodart, BWI, Follett, Ingram, Partners West, and other wholesalers all carry graphic novels. Most schools and libraries already do business with one or more of these companies, so why not simply add your graphic novel order to your regular order?
2. Buy from a local comic book store
For a variety of reasons, your local comic book store could be the best possible resource for your purchase of graphic novels. There is probably more than one such store in your area – find the one that suits you best. You can use the Comic Shop Locator Service at www.comicshoplocator.com or by calling toll-free 1-888-COMIC-BOOK to find stores near you.
3. Buy Direct from Diamond
Maybe there are no comic book stores in your area and your usual wholesaler doesn’t have stock on particular titles. Or maybe you just prefer the ease of working with a distributor focused specifically on graphic novels. In that case, Diamond is happy to sell direct to you. To order direct from Diamond, contact Allan Greenberg by phone at (800) 452-6642, ext. 864, or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
